Wild Rice Stew


Wild Rice Stew

Serves 6 to 8. Recipe is by Julie Kay.

1 lb. beef stew meat

½ s fresh cabbage

2 cups beef broth

3 carrots, peeled and sliced

1 (8-oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced

1 (10¾-oz.) can cream mushroom soup

3 stalks celery, chopped

1 large onion, chopped

¼ cup wild rice

1 (1.5-oz.) pkg. beef stew seasoning mix

1 tbls. black pepper

Place all ingredients into slow cooker and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve with French bread and salad. Freezes well.
