Chicken au Jus Sandwiches

Serves 4. Recipe is by Julie Kay.

1 to 2 lbs. chicken breast tenderloins

1½ tbls. Creole seasoning

1 large onion, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 (12-oz.) jar Heinz HomeStyle Classic Chicken prepared gravy

Sandwich bread or hamburger buns

1. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker and sprinkle with Creole seasoning. Add onion and bell pepper.

2. Pour jar of gravy over all. Cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours. Place one chicken breast on each bread slice and spoon gravy, onions and bell peppers over each one. Top with another bread slice and serve or use open-faced.
