Serves 4. Recipe is by Beth Colvin.

1/2 cup honey

1 tbl. minced garlic

1⁄8 tsp. cayenne pepper, or to taste

Salt, to taste

4 chicken thighs

1. In a small bowl, combine the honey, garlic and seasonings. Place chicken in a zip-top bag and pour honey mixture over it. Shake well to coat the chicken and refrigerate overnight.

2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place chicken on a rack over a baking sheet and pour honey mixture over it. Cook 45 to 50 minutes, basting occasionally, or until a meat thermometer registers 165 degrees in the center of the thigh and the skin is crispy.

"Place chicken on a rack over a baking sheet and pour honey mixture over it (chicken)." Won't that make a giant mess in the oven? And hasn't the honey mixture already been poured over the chicken into a zip-top bag the day before at this point?
