Recipe is by Beth Colvin. 4 tbls. butter, divided 1 cup pre-chopped fresh Cajun seasoning blend 1 lb. smoked sausage, sliced 1/2 cup chicken broth 1 medium head cabbage, washed, cored and damaged leaves removed Salt, black pepper and Creole seasoning, to taste 1. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the seasoning blend and sauté until soft and fragrant, about 10 minutes. Do not allow to brown. 2. Add the sausage and broth, cover and cook while you chop the cabbage into bite-sized chunks. Add the cabbage to the pot, dot with remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, season and put the lid back on. 3. Lower heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 30 to 45 minutes. Adjust seasoning as needed.
