Gourmet Galley: Party Sandwiches Gourmet Galley: Party Sandwiches by corinne cook Jan. 30, 2013 Comments I cut out this recipe for Hot Roast Beef Party Sandwiches from Southern Living Magazine in 2008 because it was, as it mentioned, an updated version of the hot ham sandwiches we used to make. They’re easy to make, tasty, small sandwiches that can be made up ahead of time. Enjoy one or two while you watch the bowl games and bring in the New Year. The rolls are split horizontally then topped with peach preserves, mustard, roast beef, Havarti cheese, toasted walnuts, wrapped in foil and heated. After they’re heated, the rolls are cut apart and served warm. Using an electric knife to cut the sandwiches makes it easy. Corinne Cook is a columnist for The Advocate.
