Serves 6. Recipe is provided by Beth Colvin. This recipe’s been in my box for years. It probably originally came from Bisquick.
1 cup Bisquick baking mix
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup milk
2 cups blackberries, raspberries or dewberries, if you have the good luck to know where there’s a patch
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a casserole dish with nonstick spray.
2. Mix together the Bisquick, sugar and milk. Spread evenly over the bottom of the pan.
3. Top with an even layer of berries. Bake 45 minutes or until golden brown.
