Blackberry Preserves

Makes 8 pints. Recipe is from Ashley Savoy.

4 cups crushed blackberries

6 cups of sugar or 3 cups of honey

1 (6-oz.) pkg. liquid pectin

1. Combine berries and sugar and bring to a rolling boil.

2. Add pectin and bring back to a rolling boil. Let boil for 1 minute.

3. Ladle preserves into sterilized jars. Seal with a water bath, letting them boil for 10 minutes.
