Save time, celebrate with Chili-Sauced Hot Dogs

It’s the time of year when stress has been high. Parents, teachers, students, along with friends and families in their paths, are feeling the effects of exams, last-minute papers and good-bye parties. School has ended for many and is almost at the end for others.

The kitchen isn’t exempt from stress. What to shop for? What to serve? Is there enough time? Will there be enough food if extra people drop by?

Here’s a time-saver whether serving for dinner, lunch, or celebratory pool parties. Keep in mind that for a standard pack of eight hot dogs, one bottle of chili sauce will be enough; however, the sauce can easily be doubled if you want to add more hot dogs.

It won’t hurt to have more sauce either way.

While the recipe calls for leaving the hot dogs whole for placing into buns, they can also be sliced and served with decorative toothpicks as an appetizer.
