Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

Advocate-Tested Recipe

Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

Yields about 30 cookies. Recipe is from Amanda Hay.

21/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

1 cup butter, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 (5.1-oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

2 large eggs

2 cups chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

2. Beat butter and sugars until cream. Beat in pudding mix. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing until combined after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips.

3. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheets lined with parchment. Bake 9 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and leave cookies on the sheet 2 to 3 more minutes before removing to wire racks to cool.
