Wear your creative black and orange attire. The board will announce details on the Halloween parade and ball, the Ghostly Gala. The parade king and queen will also be announced, along with the recipients of the 2014 Special Awards for Community, Courage and Creativity. The consortium is a nonprofit for Halloween enthusiasts. Annual proceeds go to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. The organization also collects food for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and hosts an annual children’s costume drive for the Baton Rouge Big Buddy Program.
