Tomorrow is the first day of May and the next few weeks are pretty busy as we approach the end of school and the summer social slow down. Friday is the LSU Rural Life Museum’s Evening at Windrush. Saturday starts with a “Run for the Roses” event benefiting Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge followed by the Mental Health Association’s Casino Night, the St. Elizabeth Foundation’s Gala and Spay Baton Rouge’s Comedy Night. Next weeks there’s events for Cancer Services, Volunteers of America, Our Lady of Lake Children’s Hospital, Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana, the Fur Ball and Baton Rouge Symphony Pops concert at Rural Life.
