Advocate story Aug. 04, 2014 Comments I hope you’ve enjoyed the arrival of spring as much as I have, even though Old Man Winter is trying his best to hang around. It’s nice to see all the trees bursting forth with their green leaves, the flowers beginning to bloom, even the hum of lawn mowers on a Saturday morning. Spring in the Capital City brings some of our favorite events. Tomorrow night is the Baton Rouge Epicurean Society’s CrawFête; this Saturday is the Best Dressed Ball benefiting the American Cancer Society; and the Baton Rouge Symphony League’s Mad Hatters Luncheon is April 7. I hope to see you at one of these fun fundraisers. To see what else is coming up, check out Pam’s Party Calendar at http://theadvocate.com/columnists/pambordelon. Follow this link to see the photos.
