The New Orleans-based pop band Royal Teeth will appear on Fox’s “American Idol” at 8 p.m. Thursday.

The band, with members from Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Lafayette, will perform its breakout single, “Wild.”

Also, “Idol” judge Jennifer Lopez will sing her new single, “I Luh Ya Papi.”

One of the top 10 “Idol” finalists is set to be sent home on Thursday, elimination night.

“American Idol” airs on WGMB, Channel 44 (cable Channel 6) in Baton Rouge; KADN, Channel 15 (cable Channel 6) in Lafayette); and WVUE, Channel 8 (cable Channel 9) in New Orleans.
