WHAT: LaHouse Home and Landscape Resource Center Winter Saturday Open House.

WHEN: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

DETAILS: The open house will highlight technologies that provide cost-effective, practical and durable green living techniques to improve comfort and energy efficiency in the home during the winter. AgCenter experts will be on hand to answer questions. A $5 per adult donation is suggested.


WHAT: Third annual Snowflake Tea.

DETAILS: Presented by the Old Governor’s Mansion and Weddings by Allie. The event is designed to allow the bride to visit the Old Governor’s Mansion as a guest at a real wedding reception, including food and drink and vendors showing new trends. A honeymoon prize will be given away.
