The YMCA of the Capital Area recognized the dedication of more than 160 staff members from all nine branch locations at its annual staff recognition dinner on Dec. 8 at Boudreaux’s.
CEO Bob Jacobs presented the awards to staff members who over the past year have embodied the Y’s core principles of “caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.”
Guy St. Amant received the $1,500 Fred McCord Scholarship award for continuing education. Gail Pinsonat, Gina Stonich and Adolph Ray were recognized as Tammie Taylor Service Ambassadors of the Year. Shanna Duke was named Staff Associate of the Year and Greg Wroblewski the Director of the Year.
Jacobs also presented service pins to 37 employees for a combined total of 260 years of service to the YMCA.
