Cambre is a 2012 graduate of Denham Springs High School. MCCURNIN COMPLETES BASIC: Navy Seaman Barbara A. McCurnin, daughter of Lisa and Kerry J. Terrio, of Denham Springs, was recently promoted to her current rank upon graduation from recruit training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. McCurnin is a 2002 graduate of Denham Springs High School. MOORE COMPLETES BASIC: Army Pvt. Marcus J. Moore has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Moore is the son of Karen and Lioneal Moore, of Baton Rouge, and is a 2008 graduate of Baton Rouge Magnet High School. Reunions REUNION CADIENNE: The Reunion Cadienne (Cajun reunion) celebrating the Feast of the Assumption will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at The Four Columns, 3711 Westbank Expressway, Harvey. Tureaud Sr. Black Alumni Chapter is hosting a two-day reunion on the first home football game weekend, Sept. 6- 7, to honor the legacy of the late civil rights attorney A.P. Tureaud Sr. The celebratory event will feature the first reunion of the LSU Gospel Choir and will also benefit chapter scholarships and the LSU Alumni Association Annual Fund. The Friday night production, “Here’s To You, Mr. Tureaud,” is at 7 p.m. at the Manship Theatre in the Shaw Center for the Arts. Open to the public, the tickets are on sale at the Manship Theatre ticket office, (225) 344-0334. Other reunion events include a Friday night welcome party with a silent auction of paintings by A.P.
