The Red Shoes topic for Women’s Council

Wendy Herschmann, executive director of The Red Shoes, spoke about the program to the Women’s Council of Greater Baton Rouge on July 11 at First United Methodist Church. Jaimie Smith with “Take Shape for Life” spoke on changing your life through healthy eating.

Diane Broussard reported that Women’s Week will have 177 activities and only 34 will have a fee. There are 48 sponsors. The kick-off luncheon is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 27, at Boudreaux’s. Melinda Walsh, president of Melinda Walsh Communications, will be keynote speaker. Call (225) 302-8018 for tickets or information.
