SCALISE NAMES CONGRESSIONAL INTERNS: U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise has named three new interns to his office.

Mitchell Shea, an incoming senior at University of Louisiana at Lafayette, is a New Orleans native and graduate of Brother Martin High School. He is the son of Scott and Alicia Shea and is majoring in political science.

Rachel Southall, a Zachary native, is a recent graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, and a graduate of Zachary High. She is the daughter of Scottie and Rhonda Southall and majored in political science.

Samuel C. P. Ingalls, a graduate of Mandeville High, is an incoming sophomore at Tulane University. He is the son of Bret and Diana Ingalls and is double majoring in finance and political economy.


CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL: The Class of 1988 will hold a 25-year reunion at 7 p.m. Aug. 17 at Boudreaux and Thibodeaux’s, 214 Third St.
