Tullos guest speaker for Museum Friends

Louisiana State Museum Director Mark Tullos Jr. was the guest speaker when the Louisiana State Museum Friends board met June 18 at the Louisiana Capitol Park Museum.

Tullos spoke to the group about what its members could do to assist the Capitol Park Museum, and discussed the opening of the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in Natchitoches held June 27-29.

Museum Division Director Bill Stark gave an update on museum activities. Chairwoman Rosa Dunn announced the annual meeting and reception is scheduled for July 25 at Capitol Park Museum. Chairwoman Lana Venable reported the “Night at Louisiana State Museum: Year of Louisiana Music” fundraiser was a big success.
