Hope Ministries is a Baton Rouge community center providing financial counsel, food assistance, vocational training and lifestyle management. The effort was part of Honeywell Hometown Solutions, the company’s corporate citizenship initiative, which seeks to address certain needs in the communities where it operates. Eight volunteers worked two weeks to complete all electrical and plumbing work, install vinyl flooring, cabinets, a counter top and a sink, and paint the completed kitchen. Honeywell donated the cabinets, counter top and sink.
