“Attending a Catholic School, St. Jean Vianney, has benefited me in that I could freely learn about God and the sacrifice of his Son, Jesus Christ. It has allowed me to live my faith while participating in academic studies, sports and clubs. It has also prepared me for sharing the mission of the church in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ not only for the mission trip I am preparing for this summer but also for future life endeavors.”

Extra: Alex Landry enjoys basketball and most other sports, Drama Club, Student Council, Quiz Bowl, Beta Club and Youth Legislature. One of his favorite quotes is “We are what we believe we are” from C.S. Lewis. He was chosen the Baton Rouge Diocese’s Eighth Grade Student of the Year. “As an SJV eighth-grader, I especially enjoyed mentoring to my kindergarten prayer partner, Parker (Castleberry).”
