EVENT: The 14th annual Baton Rouge Area Tour of Ponds and Gardens.

DETAILS: Deep South Koi and Pond Society and Harb’s Oasis Landscaping and Garden Center will present the tour to raise funds for Brave Heart — Children in Need and Yelp!BR. The event will feature local ponds and gardens, and owners and professionals discussing water features, fish, flowers, plants and outdoor entertainment areas. The tour book will have pond descriptions, locations and directions. Tickets, $15, are available at Harb’s Oasis or online.

HILLTOP TOURS

EVENT: 2013 Hilltop Spring Garden Tours’ Bonus Tour, “An Afternoon in St. Francisville.”

DETAILS: The Hilltop Spring Garden Tours will conclude with the bonus tour, “An Afternoon in St. Francisville.” The gardens included in the tour will be Marla and David Floyd, 12383 Tunica Trace; St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 12790 Tunica Trace; and Mary Ann Brown Preserve, 13515 Highway 965. St. Mary’s will host a lunch (prepaid, $12) from noon to 3 p.m. and will have plants for sale courtesy of the Hilltop Hodge Podge volunteers.
