DETAILS: The fundraiser will benefit the Pediatric Burn Center at Baton Rouge General Mid City. The center will use the proceeds for its “I’m Still Me” camp, which is open to children, ages 4 to 17, and costs $1,100 per child a week. The fundraiser will feature a card party time, a fashion show, entertainment, a Chinese raffle, silent auction, baked goods and vendors for shopping. Tickets are $35.

STORYBOOK BALL

DETAILS: The Storybook Ball, a whimsical gala for the young and young-at-heart, will raise funds for Family Road of Greater Baton Rouge, a nonprofit organization that provides social services to the community. The gala will have larger-than-life storybooks that each come with a station of interactive activities and costumed characters. It will also have live music, stilt walkers, Tim the Magician, prizes, food and drinks. Music will be by the Young Band Nation Blues Project. Participants can also take a photo on a vintage princess carriage and paint with the Mobile Mona Lisa’s painting station. Tickets are available online or at the door.

DETAILS: The Hilltop Spring Garden Tours will conclude with the bonus tour, “An Afternoon in St. Francisville.” The gardens included in the tour will be Marla and David Floyd’s, 12383 Tunica Trace; St. Mary’s Episcopal Church’s, 12790 Tunica Trace; and Mary Ann Brown Preserve, 13515 Highway 965.
