Cancer Society’s annual ball recognizes best dressed in BR
The Capital City’s most chi-chi men and women will be honored at the 2013 Best Dressed Ball at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Capital Atrium.
The theme for this year’s fashion event, chaired by the Ladies of Victory and sponsored by Price LeBlanc Lexus to benefit the American Cancer Society, is “Sparkles & Studs.”
This year’s “Sparkles” include Marsha Baker, Kitty Calabrese, Nikki Caldwell, Amy David, Casey Gill Gautreau, Lauren Barksdale Hill, Dr. Khanh Ho, Susan Love, Elizabeth McCollister and Dr. Ann Zedlitz.
Tapped as “Studs” are Jonathan Bruser, Patrick Campbell, Roy Powell Davis, Daryl Ellis, Jack Harris, Jack Hunt, Justin McDonald, Lew Parks, Henry Watson and Dr. Rani Whitfield.
Once they’ve all taken their turn on the runway, a style show featuring fashions from Chatta Box, Currie and Lukka will be showcased. The evening will wrap up with dancing to the sounds of the Bucktown All-Stars.
