DETAILS: Girl Scouts are now taking cookie orders. They started selling cookies from various booths March 1. The sale will include eight varieties of cookies and are $4 per box. ‘PASSION FOR FASHION’

Michelle McCalope, of WAFB, will emcee. The Esprit de Femme award goes to a person who has made exceptional efforts toward the advancement of women. The recipients are Jeanette Alcon, Lindy Boggs, Sherri Brock, Mary-Brent Brown, Laurinda Calongne, Lolo Jones, Amy Mitchell-Smith and Jacqui Vines. The winner of the Men Who Champion Women award is Hillar Moore III. The celebration will also have an art patron’s auction. Tickets are $45 per person. Sponsorships are also available.
