Neighbors Notes for Dec. 11, 2012


WILES HONORED: Michael Wiles, of Norman, Okla. son of Andy and Rhonda Wiles, of Baton Rouge, was recently honored with the First Year Clinical Science Award at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tenn. The award recognizes a student demonstrating outstanding skills in his or her clinical studies. He is a graduate of Norman High School and the University of Oklahoma.


VANDERLICK COMPLETES BASIC: Air National Guard Airman Luke R. Vanderlick graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Vanderlick is the son of Esther Boe, of Mansura, and Brian Vanderlick, of Lacassine, and is a 2011 graduate of Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge Program, Baton Rouge.

HILL COMPLETES BASIC: Navy Aviation Airman Apprentice Tyler C. Hill graduated from basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Hill is the son of Walker and Deidre Hill and a 2012 graduate of Live Oak High School. He is currently assigned to Naval Air Technical Training Center in Pensacola, Fla.
