HALLOWEEN AT THE CASTLE

GIRL SCOUTS

  • DETAILS: Girl Scouts Louisiana East will celebrate 100 years of service with a Centennial Luncheon, which will feature the Women of Distinction awards. The keynote speaker will be “Today” show correspondent Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of former President George W. Bush. Hager will be joined by New Orleans City Council Vice President Jacqueline Brechtel Clarkson, a former Girl Scout, who will serve as the honorary luncheon chairwoman. Luncheon tickets are $100 per person and $1,000 per reserved table of 10. Tickets for the luncheon and a pre-event champagne reception are $150 per person. Proceeds will go to support the Girl Scout Leadership Experience in southeast Louisiana.

TRIANON EVENT

MODEL TRAIN SHOW

  • EVENT: The Train Collectors Association’s Model Train Show.

  • DETAILS: The Louisiana chapter of The Train Collectors Association will host a regional train show, which will have all types of trains on sale and train layouts with running trains on display. It will also have contests for kids. The show is in conjunction with the Ponchatoula Trade Days and Craft Fair, a three-day outdoor event. Admission is $5 per person. Children who are 12 years old or younger get in free.

VETERAN’S DAY PARADE
