LSU AgCenter’s LaHouse Home and Landscape Resource Center will have an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The AgCenter suggests a donation of $5 an adult.

At the open house, visitors can ask questions of experts and see firsthand LaHouse’s built-in hurricane and flooding features, energy efficiency and solar energy. Horticulturists from the AgCenter will be available to talk about landscaping and plants that do well in Louisiana’s hot summers and mild winters.

LaHouse, 2858 Gourrier Ave., and grounds are open for self-guided tours Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. LaHouse is across the street from the LSU baseball stadium. For more information, call (225) 578-7913 or visit http://www.lsuagcenter.com/LaHouse.
