Mosgrove addresses BSP chapter meeting

Veronica Mosgrove, press secretary to Commissioner of Agriculture Mike Strain, spoke to Laureate Alpha Gamma Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi on Sept. 26. She directed members to http://www.getagameplan.org for help planning activities for children during hurricanes.

President Phyllis Turner announced that Beta Sigma Phi rituals for Dixie Gregory and Anne Smith were scheduled for Oct. 16 at Page Meyer’s home. City Council Representative Ruth Mannen said the Sweetheart Ball will be held Feb. 2 at the Gonzales Civic Center; the area convention will be held April 14 at the Gonzales Civic Center; and Founder’s Day will be held April 25 at Ashley Manor.

Marilyn Mayeux brought strawberry cake in honor of Sandy Linder’s birthday.
