Survivor fête
You too can get in ‘the pink’ at Perfectly Pink a Luncheon for Life.
WHAT: The Komen Baton Rouge affiliate’s annual gala luncheon for breast cancer survivors, their families and friends, guests and community supporters to honor survivors and those who fought the disease.
WHEN: 12:30 p.m. Sept. 30.

DETAILS: The event has a new look with entertainment and an inspirational talk by bestselling author Jill Conner Browne, The Sweet Potato Queen, who understands breast cancer both personally and as a co-survivor to a dear friend. Proceeds will fund grants to help low resource women in the area and for critical research.
