Send photos properly for best reproduction
All photo submissions to The Advocate must include a contact name and daytime phone number.
Digital images must be at least 220 dpi at a given size. For example, a 5x7 photo should be 4.85 megs. Digital images must be in JPEG format. If you’re using a digital camera, it should be 4 megapixels or higher and set on the highest quality setting. Set your photo processing software to produce the highest quality print. The final size of the image file should be more than 1 megabyte.
Hard-copy photos must be submitted in color.
