FUN FACT:
What are 2 million pounds of steel, more or less?
That’s how much steel’s going into construction of the new Main Library, 7711 Goodwood Blvd.
The steel will span 88,461.5 linear feet or 16.75 miles. Check on the progress of the library at http://ebrpl.libguides.com/mainlibrary and even watch time-lapse photography of the construction by clicking on the YouTube icon.
REFERENCE QUESTION:
“I’d like my (overdue and hold) notices to go paperless. Can I sign up for email notifications on the library’s website?”
Many library patrons receive their notices via email, but you can’t make the request online at present. Call the Circulation Department at (225) 231-3740 to request that your notifications be sent to you by email.

REFERENCE QUESTION:
“There is an ‘Additional Titles’ option available when ‘OverDrive’ is searched. What is this?”
“OverDrive” is the library’s collection of ebooks, audio books and some movie and music files that can be downloaded digitally. Click the “OverDrive” link on the homepage.
When you search for a book using “OverDrive,” you will see a list called “Additional Titles.” These are books that match your search but are not owned by the library. Click to recommend that we add the title to the collection.
