“I’m still not sure about what I want to do in the future, but law seemed pretty interesting. It is a respectable field that requires a lot of critical thinking and public speaking, things that I enjoy very much. I’m excited to see where this goes!”

Music: “Lots of random bands, but mostly alternative rock like The Killers and Motion City Soundtrack.”

Role model: “I’m such a nerd, but Barack Obama is someone I look up to. I admire his successful career in both law and politics.”
Extra: Wang is participating in the “Suit Up for the Future” High School Summer Legal Institute and Internship Program, sponsored by the Louisiana State Bar Association in partnership with the Just the Beginning Foundation. Participating students spend three weeks attending lectures, going on field trips to New Orleans-area courts and law schools, shadowing attorneys in law firms and participating in mock oral arguments. She also participates in cross country, plays the piano and is a member of Mu Alpha Theta National Math Honor Society.
