Gourmet Galley: Nontraditional wings make good snack, light meal

Spicy Ginger Chicken Wings and Peachy Chicken Wings aren’t traditional fried Buffalo wings with blue cheese and celery sticks. These wings are marinated and baked.

They make a good snack or light meal after ball practice or swimming lessons. I served them with steamed broccoli and sliced tomatoes.

The Spicy Ginger Wings are marinated a few hours or overnight in a soy, orange and ginger mixture. The peachy wings are marinated in peach preserves and brown sugar with a hint of soy sauce.
