If you’re a fan of ice cold lemonade and freshly squeezed juices, you’ll love this recipe for homemade Watermelon Juice With Basil, which I first shared a couple of summers ago.
Watermelon Juice With Basil is easy to make using a standard centrifugal juicer. Centrifugal juicers have a circular blade that spins against a mesh covering, removing the juice from the fruit’s flesh.
To make this recipe for watermelon juice, simply process the fruit and a handful of basil through the juicer’s opening, chill and serve.
Don’t have a centrifugal juicer? Try this alternative: place watermelon cubes in a strainer set inside a large bowl. To juice, press down on the watermelon cubes so that the fruit strains into the bowl beneath it.
