Titled “NY State of Mind,” the “Restaurant: Impossible” episode featuring a Baton Rouge eatery will air at 9 p.m. Wednesday on Food Network.

Show host Robert Irvine and a film crew visited Mama Della’s N.Y. City Pizzeria, 8190 Jefferson Highway, in January. Irvine had two days to convince owner Barry Kalt that changes were necessary if the business were to succeed.

The show follows Irvine each week as he helps restaurants revamp their operations, often from food to furnishings.

The episode will re-air at midnight Thursday, 10 p.m. Sunday, 1 a.m. Monday, 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 2; and 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5.

Food Network is on cable Channel 53 in Baton Rouge and Lafayette and Channel 67 in New Orleans.
