Eat Your Vegetables: Beans tossed with sautéed vegetables, almonds, bell peppers

Steamed beans are tossed with sautéed vegetables, sliced almonds and roasted bell peppers.

Steam the beans according to how cooked you like them. Steaming on the stove, in a little salted water for 3-5 minutes, ensures the vibrant green color and tastiness.

This bean dish can be prepared ahead of time and reheated in the microwave just before serving. Toasted almonds and roasted bell peppers are added right before serving.
