It’s time to start getting serious about Christmas plans, whether it be food planning or gift shopping. It won’t be long now.
What tends to get lost in the shuffle during the holidays is the day-to-day cooking. Office routines are often hectic this time of year.
School events and exams stress the household dynamics and then, there are the holiday plans themselves.
Don’t skimp on daily meals. Make mealtime fun and try something different. Love the taste and look of stuffed peppers?
For a new twist, stuff red and green peppers with barbecue beef cubes.
Simply because of the liquid and cooking time, it works better to cook only the barbecued beef cubes in the slow cooker.
Cooking the beef in the peppers would leave the peppers pretty mushy in the extended cook time; therefore, stuff the cooked cubes into the uncooked peppers just before serving.
