The food website The Daily Mail recently named four New Orleans chefs among its choices for the country’s 60 best chefs.
Donald Link, of Cochon, was rated No. 10; Tory McPhail, of Commander’s Palace, No. 16; John Besh, of August, No. 26; and Michael Sichel, of Galatoire’s Restaurant, No. 37.
Its No. 1-rated chef is Thomas Keller, of The French Laundry in Yountville, Calif.
Galatoire’s locations set pre-theater menus
Galatoire’s Restaurant and Galatoire’s 33 Bar & Steak in New Orleans and Galatoire’s Bistro in Baton Rouge are offering pre-theater dinner menus that will be available beginning at 5 p.m. on the performance nights of Broadway shows.
In Baton Rouge, the three-course-menu will be available on the evenings of major visiting productions, including Nov. 7, 11 and 22; Dec. 15; Jan. 24; Feb. 16; and March 6.
