Enjoy this Hot Gulf Shrimp Dip whether you’re tailgating with friends, having a nice dinner party or just enjoying a night at home.
Wild-caught Gulf of Mexico shrimp is exceptional in flavor and fortunately for us, it’s usually available in our grocery stores or seafood markets.
The best thing about shrimp is that it cooks quickly, and the quick cooking is the secret to preparing it. When you add the raw shrimp to the boiling water, it’s cooked in one to three minutes or as soon as the shrimp are opaque.
With 1 pound of shrimp and a few other ingredients you probably have on hand, you can quickly make this. Season it according to your taste. Have the pita bread or toasted French bread slices ready to accompany this as soon as you pull it from the oven.
