Cool Swiss Cheese Dip
Serves 8 to 10. Recipe is provided by Debbie Heroman.
1 lb. Swiss cheese, coarsely grated
1 bunch green onions, chopped
½ cup chopped mild banana peppers (from a jar)
½ cup finely chopped jalapeño peppers (from a jar)
½ cup mayonnaise
1 head purple cabbage
1. Combine the cheese, green onions, banana peppers and jalapeño peppers in a bowl. Add enough mayonnaise to bind and mix well.
2. Slice purple cabbage in half and hollow out. Fill cabbage with dip and serve with Frito Scoops. Add additional mayonnaise if needed at serving time. Store in refrigerator for up to one week.
