Irish Film Festival features films, food

When Irish eyes are smiling, it’s a good bet there’s food nearby. And maybe films and music, too.

The Baton Rouge Irish Club is hosting its fourth annual Irish Film Festival on Saturday through Monday . It will feature films such as “The Secret of Kells” and “The Long Gray Line.”

Movies will screen in several venues around Baton Rouge, including the Manship Theatre, Celtic Media and Phil Brady’s. The festival will also feature entertainment from bagpipers, Irish dancers, singer Danny O’Flaherty and the band My Wild Irish Roots. Feeling like celebrating Irish culture at home?
