Beausoleil’s Local Tomato Bloody Mary
Makes 1 liter. Recipe is from Beausoleil and won second place at the LSU AgCenter’s Garden Fest’s Bloody Mary contest.
3 lbs. of local tomatoes
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup Louisiana Hot Sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
Pinch of salt
Peel, seed and coarsely chop tomatoes, then puré e and strain. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix vigorously.
