SuperChocolate Ice Cream
Makes about 12 servings. Recipe is by Beth Colvin.
1 cup milk
1⁄3 cup cocoa
1 tsp. instant coffee
1 tbl. Nutella
1 cup sugar
2 cups heavy cream
1. Whisk together milk, cocoa, coffee, Nutella, sugar and salt in a medium bowl until sugar is dissolved. Stir in heavy cream and chill overnight in the refrigerator.
2. Prepare your ice cream maker according to manufacturer instructions. Add the cream mixture and freeze according to manufacturer’s directions.
3. Remove ice cream from maker into an airtight container. Close the container and freeze for at least 4 hours to allow flavors to ripen.
