Makes about 10 dozen cookies. Recipe is from Amy Henagan McCurnin.
21/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsps. cinnamon
11/2 tsps. fresh nutmeg
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 sticks butter
11/2 cups brown sugar
2 cups chopped pecans
1. Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
2. Cream butter, sugar and eggs, add to flour mixture. Add pecans and mix well.
3. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
