Accidental Chef’ sets class at Fresina Co.
Fresina Pasta Co. & Italian Specialties will host Janice “Boo” Macomber, “The Accidental Chef” from Lafayette, at 10:30 a.m. March 9 and March 10.
Macomber’s class, “Scilia Meets New Orleans,” costs $65.

Wine dinner planned March 8 at Juban’s
Juban’s Restaurant, 3739 Perkins Road, will host the J. Lohr Vineyards Wine Dinner at 7 p.m. March 8 with special guest Susan Cowder, J. Lohr regional sales manager.
J. Lohy Vineyards was named 2010’s winery of the year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine, and a portion of the proceeds from the dinner will help fund breast cancer research.
Assorted canapés, accompanied by Wildflower Valdiguie, Monterey, will be offered, beginning at 6:15 p.m.

Koch, Riegel to teach cooking class for kids
Tracey Koch and Stephanie Riegel will teach a Kids Dish cooking class from 11 a.m. to noon March 10 at Whole Foods in Towne Center.
The menu will feature a variety of nutritious dishes for an easy breakfast prepared with fresh foods.
The class is open to ages 7-12 and space is limited. Cost is $10 per person.
