Concert benefits injured officer

A concert benefitting Baton Rouge City Police officer Wallace Britton, who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run in July, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Church Point Ministries, 12061 N. Harrell’s Ferry Road.

The concert will feature Doug Williams, of the Williams Brothers, along with Da’ Vocalairs, The Lighthouse Gospel Seniors, Teha Garba and Godsown Praise.

Advance tickets are $25: tickets at the door will be $50. Get tickets at WTQT, 3313 Government St.

Britton, 33, is a one-year police veteran. He was injured while investigating a vehicle break-in outside an apartment complex.
