Aglow South Region to gather in N.O.
Aglow groups from Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee will gather in New Orleans in June for two days of speakers and worship sessions at the New Orleans Marriott Hotel and Resort, 555 Canal St.
The regional gathering opens at 7:30 p.m. June 22 with Graham Cooke, of California, as speaker. Cooke is the founder of Brilliant Book House and My Emerging Light. Registration begins at 4 p.m. that day.
Cooke will speak again when the gathering continues at 9 a.m. June 23. Other second-day speakers include Glenda Fleming, of Mississippi, an ordained minister who serves as Aglow South Region director, and Jane Hansen-Hoyt, of Washington, who is president of Aglow International.
Registration is $125 for individuals or $230 for couples or $35 for a single session. The cutoff for the conference room rate of $150 plus tax is May 25.

The network’s new website offers locally produced original programming as well as Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday Masses, according to an email from Elizabeth Brantley, Catholic Life Television office manager.
New shows will be added regularly along with seasonal offerings such as Holy Week 2012 Masses from St. Joseph Cathedral.
