Each “Copycat” episode features six contestants. The show matches two contestants who are fans of the same artist against each another in a sing-off staged in front of the studio audience. Because the audience cannot see the singers, the contestants must win via their voices alone. The two final “Copycat” performers will receive makeovers modeled after their celebrity idols. The winner of the final “Copycat” contest will receive $5,000. Sneak peeks of the show, including photos and videos, can be seen at MTV.com. The show also has a “Copycat” Facebook page.
