SUNDAY

  • 5:30-9 p.m.: “A Musical Feast” at Madewood Plantation, Napoleonville. Chamber ensemble performances and dinner prepared by James Beard Award-winning Chef Stephen Stryjewski, of Cochon restaurant. $90 per person.

TUESDAY

  • 7:30 p.m.: “Birdfoot Backstage” with WWNO 89.9 FM. Participating musicians will perform and be interviewed by Gwen Thompkins, host of “Music Inside Out,” for later rebroadcast. Jewish Community Center, 5342 St. Charles Ave. Free and open to the public.

MAY 23

  • “Night Train” at Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro, 626 Frenchmen St. “Cloud Trio” by Kaija Saariaho and “Different Trains” by Steve Reich; 8 p.m. “Goldberg Variations” by Johann Sebastian Bach; 10 p.m. $10 to $15.

MAY 24

  • Salon at the Little Gem Saloon Jazz Hall, 445 S. Rampart St. Performance given by participants in Birdfoot’s Chamber Music Mentoring Program; 7 p.m. Performance of Gyorgy Kurtag’s “Microludes,” Olivier Messiaen’s “Quatuor pour le Fin du Temps” (Quartet for the End of Time) and Gabriel Fauré’s piano trio; 8 p.m. $10 to $25

MAY 25

  • Mentoring Program pre-concert, Dixon Hall, Tulane University, 7 p.m. Final Gala Concert featuring Mozart’s “Clarinet Quintet,” Ravel’s “Piano Trio,” Britten’s “Phantasy Oboe Quartet” and Brahms’ “Piano Quartet in C Minor.” 8 p.m. $10 to $25.
